First-year coach leads Pirates' volleyball

In the midst of the volleyball team's most successful start to a season since 1996, rookie head coach Allison Yaeger doesn't seem fazed by the transition from assistant to head coach, bringing the team out to an early 8-1 record.

Volleyball wins URI tournament

The volleyball team won the URI tournament this weekend, losing only two sets in their three games and in the process extended their winning streak to five games.

Every four years each NCAA team is allowed to take a trip to a foreign country. This past summer the men's basketball team took theirs to Spain and the Canary Islands.

Women's soccer loses to Army

Despite outshooting the opponent, the women's soccer team lost its first match of the season on Monday night, 1-0, against the Army Black Knights for the second consecutive year.

Men's soccer defeats Rider in overtime

The men's soccer team earned revenge against the Rider on Monday night at Owen T. Carroll field defeating Broncos, 2-1, in overtime after losing to the Broncs in last year's season opener.

Men's soccer defeats Army

The men's soccer team redeemed their loss in the season opener by defeating the Army Black Knights by the score of 2-0 on Monday Night.
