Everyone deserves religious freedom
By Emily Balan | Feb. 11, 2015In light of recent religious persecution abroad in jihadist movements, such as ISIS in the Middle East, my heart breaks for those whose religious freedom is restricted. I applaud the efforts of global religious leaders like Pope Francis who promotes religious tolerance and the domestic general authority of the Mormon Church who promotes anti-discrimination laws on behalf of their respective institutions.
We can end sexual assault if we speak out

University's expansion encouraged

With the proposal of a school of medicine under the University’s belt, the Department of Communication and the Arts came together to discuss the possibility of a school all its own, as well. What this means is that the department wants to branch off from the College of Arts and Sciences and blossom into its very own school.
