Braccio looks to add consistency in sophomore year

In Arianna Braccio's freshman season with the Pirates women’s cross country team, she established herself as one of the Hall’s most gifted female runners, clocking an 18:30 race at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Invitational.

BIG EAST postpones all Fall 2020 sports contests

Per Big East Conference press release, the conference has decided to postpone all sports contests for the upcoming Fall 2020 season. The decision to postpone the remaining in-conference games was made by the BIG EAST COVID-19 Task Force on Wednesday, August 12.

Three summers ago, Cristina Fernandez was preparing for her first year as a biology major and cross-country runner at Seton Hall. Her passion for medicine and helping others was the driving force behind her studies, and she wasted no time getting involved with clubs that shared similar passions. Fernandez joined the Seton Hall chapter of MEDLIFE her freshman year despite it only having about five members, but the chapter’s annual summer trip to South America would prove to be an eye-opener for what Fernandez planned to do after college.

Despite grueling summer schedule, Yocco emerges as star for Pirates

Cross country is arguably the least publicized sport at Seton Hall but also among the most difficult because of its grueling schedule. While meets take place with little fanfare, long training runs and the need to stay in top physical condition in addition, to keeping up with homework and classes puts cross country’s difficulty on par with any other Seton Hall sport.
