Following his senior season at Seton Hall, Jeremy Hazell has signed a pro contract with Alicnte of Spain, according to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.com.
Hazell left the Pirates' program third on the all-time scoring list with 2,146 career points, when he graduated in May.
He is also the school's all-time leader in three pointers made and attempted.
"I am very excited and couldn't be happier with the amazing deal we just closed on," Hazell told SNY.tv about the signing.
The contract is for two years, with an opt out clause after the first year if Hazell gets a contract with a NBA team.
During his senior season, Hazell averaged 20.4 points per game despite missing 13 games due to a broken wrist.
Hazell is the second player from last season's basketball team to sign a pro contract in Europe with Jeff Robinson signing with BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld of Austria.
