Point guard Shakena Richardson led the charge. The graduate transfer dropped 14 points and six assists, followed up by Aleesha Powell’s 13 points and seven steals. Tiffany Jones and Tabatha Richardson-Smith chipped in 12 points apiece. Jones, who has gotten off to a red-hot start in her first season starting for the Hall, finished with a team-high eight boards. The Manhattan, N.Y., native also knocked down four of her seven shots from deep, adding to her already impressive mark of 57.7 percent from distance on the season. Seton Hall was able to force 25 turnovers against the Lady Mavericks, who cut into SHU’s lead with an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter. With one minute to go, UT-Arlington managed to pull within six points. The Blue and White stayed composed and slugged out the victory. Head coach Tony Bozzella was pleased with the heart his team showed on the road. "The ladies really fought down the stretch,” he said, via the Pirate Sports Network. “This victory was about toughness. When we faced adversity, we came together and pulled it out." The Pirates had four players score in double figures, and five register an assist. As noted by the PSN, “Jones, Powell, Richardson and Richardson-Smith have all scored in double figures in four of five games this season.” Seton Hall is certainly spreading the wealth around, and the resulting product is a free-flowing offense that has caused problems for each and every opponent the team has faced to this point. This weekend, the Pirates will look to continue to make some national noise when they head to Mexico and take part in the 2015 Cancun Challenge. The team will take on NC State on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Northern Iowa on Friday.   Thomas Duffy can be reached at Thomas.duffy@student.shu.edu or on Twitter @TJDhoops.
