Men's basketball to play international 10-day tour

The men's basketball team will be playing internationally as they embark on a 10-day tour of Spain and the Canary Islands beginning on Monday.

The team flew to Madrid, Spain on Monday where the Pirates will play two of their five exhibition games against CB Torrejon on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Friday, the team will head to the Canary Islands, where the team has recruited juniors Patrik Auda, and Aaron Geramipoor, sophomore Haralds Karlis and freshman Tom Maayan from the Canarias Basketball Academy.

The Pirates will play three games in the Canary Islands against CB Gran Canaria U20 on Saturday and Tuesday, Aug 21 to conclude the trip. The team will also play Gran Canaria Select on Monday, Aug. 20.

The team will return to South Orange on Aug. 22.
