SGA discusses upcoming changes

The Student Government Association discussed the possibility of keeping the library open for 24 hours during midterms and creating small committees throughout campus on Monday.

The top concern addressed was the hours of the Walsh Library during the midterm month.

Senators said they are trying their best to extend the hours of the library to 24 hours for at least 10 days.

The SGA also spoke about creating small committees to address concerns with Gourmet Dinning Services and the local Dunkin' Donuts on campus.

It was stated in the meeting, due to the event of a student's credit card information being stolen, the entire night shift changed at Dunkin' Donuts.

In other business:

• A problem addressed at the meeting was the lack of printers in different buildings across campus. SGA is looking to install new printers in the University Center's Living Room and in McNulty Hall.

• Also addressed was ways to get better input on University surveys. As of now some ideas are being tossed around such as including rewards for students who complete these surveys.

• According to the meeting, as of now the College of Arts and Sciences is in favor of online classes. SGA said it is important to know that this is only progress and nothing is set in stone.

• They are working on getting a small committee together in order to represent Seton Hall and the SGA at the upcoming open house.

• An upcoming town hall meeting is approaching and the SGA said it will be trying to work as close with them as possible.

• Discussion of new possible technology for next year was also brought into conversation. The SGA said they will continue discussing new upgrades and reminds students to take full advantage of what Seton Hall offers
