The Theatre Council will perform "Months on End," a comedy with entertaining insights on the complexity of human relationships, in early December.
The play, written by Craig Pospisal, is free, is approximately 75 minutes and will run for three nights, Dec. 5, 6 and 7 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at the University Center's Theatre-in-the- Round.
"Months on End," put on by a 17-member student cast and crew, is a 12-scene piece, following 10 separate people during 12 different months.
The Theatre Council, an independent group of students who provide plays to Seton Hall students as well as the South Orange community (often performing at the South Orange Performing Arts Center), are very enthusiastic about performing.
"I think that at its heart the play has characters that are very relatable, and I hope that anyone who comes to see this will be able to see themselves or anyone they know in the characters and situations," said the director, senior Chris Milliman.
He said all of the actors put in significant time, rehearsing four times a week.
That way, the scenes are performed to their utmost potential, he said.
"I really want to share my humanity with (the audience), and bring out emotions from them to feel that visceral connection with the characters" senior Anthony Katic said.
Elise Pfail, a vocal performance major, said that she always wanted to act and really enjoys being on stage, adding that all in all, acting is something which she just simply loves to do.
All members of the cast encourage any student who is passionate about theater to come to try out for upcoming plays.
