How AI is a modern-day industrial revolution in the marketing world

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a staple in many areas of marketing, offering a range of innovative tools that can be extremely beneficial to any marketing team.

In November, the famous drink company Coca-Cola launched a series of new Christmas advertisements which were created with AI, according to Forbes. This took the internet by storm, causing the company to face backlash from some and praise from others for using the new tools that AI offers.

While video and photo generation is one of the most used AI features, there are many different uses that marketing teams can utilize.

Major social media companies such as Meta, TikTok, and Twitter (now known as X) all use AI to track user engagement and data. According to an article by ICUC Social, algorithms powered by AI analyze user behavior, preferences, and interactions to deliver personally tailored content and advertisements, ensuring that the right content reaches the right audience.

Additionally, AI has proven to help track data analytics, which minimizes human error. The article states that AI can track, record, and analyze data from a marketing campaign—whether that be through social media or other various forms of advertisements, it can help marketing teams decide if they need to change their approach depending on the effectiveness of their campaign. After analyzing purchasing patterns to recommend products, AI can develop prediction numbers that can be used as target numbers for a marketing campaign, ensuring that the goals set by the marketing team are surpassed.

Overall, AI has revolutionized marketing, offering unparalleled opportunities for innovation, creativity, and efficiency. While its full potential is still unfolding, marketing teams embracing AI and adapting to its technology are poised to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.
