With the holiday season just around the corner, Dunkin’s holiday specials are officially on the menu and students are sharing their favorite drink orders.
1. Pumpkin chai latte
Dunkin’ serves their fall flavored drinks from August to the beginning of November. The fall flavors include pumpkin, maple and others.
Mya Bembry, a senior marketing major, said she likes to order the fall flavored drinks.
“My favorite is anything pumpkin, but specifically the pumpkin chai latte,” she said.
Along with the fall drink, Bembry said she likes the pumpkin flavored donut. As for her usual order, she likes to keep it simple.
“I’ll get a sweet tea and sometimes I get a croissant with egg and cheese,” she said. “I come here after basketball practice all the time.”
2. Cookie Butter Cold Brew
The winter season is also a time for Dunkin to advertise their holiday flavored drinks like peppermint mocha, toasted white chocolate and cookie butter.
Chelsea Major, a junior psychology major, said she likes to make her order a bit more festive during the winter season.
“I really like the cookie butter flavor, I probably order it at least twice a week,” she said. “Sometimes I get a wake-up wrap or hashbrowns with it.”
Major said she would recommend other students to try out this holiday drink.
“But maybe after I get it because I’m tired of them running out of it,” she said.
3. Peppermint mocha latte
Dunkin’ fan Anastasia Kinsella, a sophomore business marketing major, said her favorite holiday drink is the peppermint mocha latte.
“I just like peppermint flavor in general,” she said. “It also means Christmas is coming.”
Kinsella said that she orders the drink for more therapeutic reasons.
“I think most people would like the peppermint latte because it’s like a hug before Christmas,” she said. “I usually order it whenever I’m stressed to help me relax.”
4. Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Similar to Kinsella, Francesca Violante, a sophomore speech language pathology major, said she likes the peppermint hot chocolate to put her in the holiday mood.
“I like the peppermint because it feels like Christmas,” she said. “I get it about once or twice a week before class.”
She said she would recommend this drink if students like mint flavored drinks.
“I think it puts you in the Christmas spirit too,” Violante said.
5. Toasted white chocolate latte
Another holiday drink at Dunkin’ is the toasted white chocolate flavor.
Layla Clark, a junior majoring in business, said her favorite holiday special is the toasted white chocolate latte.
“Honestly, I don’t really like the taste of coffee, but the flavors mixed with this coffee taste really good,” she said. “I order it about once a week.”
Clark said she recommends this latte towards students, like herself, who aren’t fans of the traditional coffee flavor.
“I would recommend it especially if you don’t like the taste of coffee but want to try something new,” she said. “It’s better when the right person makes it but even if anyone makes it, it’s still drinkable.”
