The Student Government Association (SGA) held its weekly meeting at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the Chancellor’s Suite.
SGA’s social media outreach proved to be a success with the turnout of 44 departments, 19 community partners, and 137 student organizations including 21 Greek organizations at the Student Involvement Fair on Sept. 14. Increased communication between SGA and Seton Hall has led to the addition of 130 friends to the SGA Snapchat account.
Further pushing to be in open communication with the Seton Hall community, Student Life Chairwoman Elianni De La Cruz initiated an idea for a poster listing current officer serving hours for the SGA office door for meetings with representatives.
Village Relations Chairman Joseph Puleo said that Village Relations met with a representative from the Interfraternity Council (IFC) for Greek Life representatives to volunteer for events in the village.
Upcoming events include the South Orange PlayDay on Sept. 20 on South Orange Avenue from 1-6 p.m. and the Trick or Treat Town Hall event on Oct. 28.
