The summer colors usually worn throughout the entire season turn into warm and mellow hues like burgundy, olive green and navy blue. When it comes to fall fashion, less is more. Simplicity makes an outfit less overwhelming and a lot more put together. There is a wide range of suitably dressed men on campus who are nothing but stylistically put together. These Seton Hall gentleman keep up with today’s trends while usually keeping it very minimal, clean and professional. As fall approaches, I am eager to see what these students have in mind for their style looks especially as the temperature drops. After my recent visit to stores such as Zara, H&M and Topman, it appears that they have changed around their entire store selections to meet the expectations of this new seasons’ shoppers. The many fall fashion pieces such as oversized knit sweaters and fitted joggers which were initially created for female shoppers have been designed in a new way to accommodate the demand of male shoppers as well. The best places to shop for knit sweaters and joggers on a student friendly budget would be stores like Uniqlo and Topman where students also receive an extra ten percent off purchases through the year. Trends become known through fashion week every year. Retailers get ideas of what to focus on every season after high end brands host their runway shows during Men’s Fashion Month. The newest color schemes, clothing pieces and accessories from these high end brands can really help inspire less expensive retailers which allows people of all ages to afford them. Social media is also the key to these daily inspirations. Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram has recently been the outlet for men throughout the world to keep up with the latest styles and trends. As the new season approaches, remember to reblog, pin and follow well-dressed men of the Instagram world to be up to date on each seasons’ latest trends. Martin O.
