[caption id="attachment_10214" align="aligncenter" width="635"]USA TODAY USA TODAY[/caption] On Wednesday afternoon Seton Hall freshman guard Isaiah Whitehead received a personal invitation from 2014-2015 Kia NBA MVP Stephen Curry to attend his 2015 Select Camp this summer. Whitehead is one of four college guards to be selected to attend the camp as a counselor to the 20 high school athletes who will be in attendance. The Stephen Curry Select Camp, which was founded a year ago, invites the top 20 guards in the world to come train with Curry and the college counselors he selects in a private four-day workout held in the Bay Area of California. Whitehead’s personal invitation came in the form of a YouTube video from the Golden State Warriors point guard. In the video, Curry congratulates Whitehead on a successful freshman season at Seton Hall, reminds him that the offseason is about getting better and invites him to the Select Camp to help him and the high school students in attendance improve their games. Other college guards invited include Maryland’s Melo Trimble, Notre Dame’s Demetrius Jackson and Northwestern’s Bryant McIntosh, all of whom attend schools sponsored by Under Armour. Curry is sponsored by the sports apparel company and has a signature shoe deal with them. https://youtu.be/JYpFMGwDGTk Olivia Mulvihill can be reached at olivia.mulvihill@student.shu.edu or on twitter @OliviaMulvihill
