Highly touted Seton Hall recruit Isaiah Whitehead was named to the prestigious McDonalds All-American team.
Whitehead joins other top recruits such as Tyus Jones, Theo Pinson, D'Angelo Russel, Myles Turner and N.J. native James Blackmon Jr. on the Boys East team.
The game will be played on April 2 at the United Center in Chicago.
The McDonald's All-American game intends to showcase the 24 best High School seniors in the country, 12 from the East and 12 from the West.
The Brooklyn, N.Y. native signed onto Seton Hall's 2014 recruiting class back in September and is finishing his senior year at Lincoln H.S.
Whitehead ranks 20th on the ESPN top 100 recruits list, he is the fifth ranked shooting guard on the list.
Whitehead is at the head of a recruiting class ranked 13th according to espn.com.
The rest of that recruiting class includes Kahdeen Carrington, Angel Delgado and Ismael Sanago.
Former Pirate alumni of the McDonald's All-American game include Andre Barrett and Eddie Griffin.
