Campus construction continues with full force during the summer at Seton Hall, preparing for the return of students.
Emails were sent to the SHU community stating that walkways and roadways would be blocked due to the construction of the recreation center, starting in June.
According to Vice President of Administration Dennis Garbini, the construction is moving along smoothly, other than a few problems.
"The biggest problem is that South Orange has delayed us on approving the parking garage," Garbini said.
Although, he assured that the construction is "moving along well" and students and faculty are "not to worry."
Also, an email was sent out on June 27 that said the parking deck ramp coating would start on Mon. July 8 and would take two weeks. A later email said the repaving would take place at this time on the D-lot and the Humanities Lot (Faculty Lot). No further emails stated that this would be cancelled.
