Ladies, we all know Valentine's Day is about you. Roses, jewelry, and candy are the staple gifts guys give to girls to celebrate the day of love.
It's perfectly fine to want to be showered with presents, but have you ever thought of doing it back? Trust me; guys will love whatever you choose to buy.
Luckily for you girls, us guys don't have expectations of receiving any gifts. As we've been taught from an early age, this is your holiday. But giving a guy a small present or two can go a long way.
It really doesn't matter what gift you get him. Whether it's his favorite movie and candy bar, he'll love it. Guys are simple like that.
For your sake, I'm going to let you in on a secret. Valentine's Day is the killer of any guy's wallet, especially for guys in college.
Christmas was less than two months ago, and depending on when you started dating, your anniversary could be coming up soon or could have occurred recently.
I remember my bank account was almost empty the last time I celebrated Valentine's Day. Our anniversary was in November, the next month was Christmas, then came her birthday in January and finally Valentine's Day. That was killer.
For those in a serious relationship, try having a romantic night in. I know that sounded lame but hear me out.
There is nothing wrong to spending the night together-alone. Valentine's Day is supposed to be the celebrate being together.
Sometimes girls get so wrapped up in the idea of the most perfect and romantic night, that they forget how much fun, and really romantic a night in can be.
Cuddling up and watching a movie can be just as romantic as a candlelit dinner in an expensive restaurant. Save that for your anniversary.
