On Thursday, February 28, at 2 p.m. there will be a Holy Hour celebrated on campus for Pope Benedict XVI as he steps down for the next pope. The Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Chapel and is sponsored by Campus Ministry. The Rev. Monsignor Robert J. Wister, professor of church history, will be the homilist, and The Rev. Stanley Gomes, director of the Campus Ministry, will be the Preside. Mass is to take place at 8 p.m Roman time, the exact time Pope Benedict XVI steps down. The event is cosponsored by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, St. Paul's Outreach, Community of St. John, and Salesians of Don Bosco.
