The men's basketball team announced Tuesday its game times and television assignments for the upcoming season.
21 of the Pirates games will be televised this year, nine of which will be on national television.
Coverage begins at the 2012 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Nov. 17-18 on ESPN3 against Washington and either Ohio State or Rhode Island.
The Pirates' game against LSU at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 as part of the Big East/SEC Challenge will be aired on ESPNU.
All 18 Big East games will be televised, including two Big East Network Game of the Week with match-ups at Notre Dame on Jan. 5 and at Louisville on Feb. 23.
Other nationally-televised games during Big East play including a home games against Louisville on Jan. 9 and at Rutgers on Feb. 12 on ESPN2. The games against USF on Jan. 23, against Cincinnati on Feb. 2, at Pittsburgh on Feb. 2, against Villanova on Feb. 25 will be on ESPNU.
The other 12 conference games will be split between SNY, MSG, and MSG+ with eight being on SNY, three on MSG and one on MSG+.
Eight non-conference non-televised home games against UMKC on Nov. 9 at Walsh Gymnasium, Norfolk State on Nov. 12, Maine on Nov. 21, St. Peter's on Nov. 25, NJIT on Dec. 4, North Carolina A&T on Dec. 15, Longwood on Dec. 19 and Stony Brook on Dec. 28 will be broadcast live on the Pirate Sports Network.
Radio coverage is yet to be announced.
