The women's soccer team shut out Colgate, 1-0, in the consolation game of the West Point Invitational in West Point N.Y. on Sunday.
The Pirates improved their overall record to 3-1-1.

Junior Jennifer Pettigrew saved 4 shots to record her second shutout of the season and the fifth in her career.
Colgate Goalie Ashley Walsh made 8 saves in a losing effort. Colgate falls to 2-3-0 on the season.
The Pirates outshot Colgate 19-13, and had more than twice as many shots on goal, 9-4.
Sophomore Amie Ruhe led the Pirates in shots with four, including two on goal.
