Both the men's and women's cross country team struggled in there races this past weekend at the the Fordham Fiasco in the Bronx, N.Y. earning a 13th place finish in each race.
For the 16 men's teams, runners participated in a five-mile race, while the 17 women's teams ran a 5K (3.1 miles).
The mens team was led by junior Jared Hanko, and the women by freshmen Mary Migton.
Hanko led his team for the second straight week, turning in a time of 28:30.3 to finish 101st.
Sophomore Carl Johnston followed with a 140th place finish in 29:29.79.
Rounding out the runners for the Hall were freshman Kevin Walsh finishing in 149th, sophomore Cory Hellwig in 162nd and freshman Tyler Orner in 182nd.
The overall winner for the men's event was Princeton's Donn Cabral, who finished the race in 25:30.37.
With Cabral's first place finish, the Tigers took the men's title with a total of 26 points.
Navy came in second, followed by Yale.
For the women's team, freshmen Mary Migton placed 35th overall. Migton ran the 5K in 19:25.97, following last week's time of 15:15.6 in a 4K.
Junior Hughnique Rolle finished in 98th place with a time of 20:37.18.
Sophmore Nyala Eddings finished third on the team in 125th place with junior Christina Chafos crossing the line in 184th.
Senior Jehmessah Walker rounded out the runners for the Hall in 200th place.
The women's overall winner was Millie Chapman from Yale, with a time of 18:03.63.
With the first place finish, Chapman led the Bulldogs to a second place result, while Princeton went on to win the women's event.
While Seton Hall did not finish in the top ten, the Pirates seek to continue improving each week.
"I think our hard work is paying off," Migton said. "As people heal from their injuries, we will be doing even better. We need to continue to work hard and listen to coach Moon."
The Pirates return to action Sept. 17 at the Delaware Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware.
