Hall lead Huskies at half

Seton Hall took a 37-32 lead against Connecticut into halftime at the Prudential Center on Saturday night.

Senior forward Jeff Robinson ended the first half with a three from senior guard Keon Lawrence as time expired to gain the five-point lead.

Freshman guard/forward Jeremy Lamb starting off the scoring for the Huskies with a basket 18 seconds into the game.

Junior forward Herb Pope responded with a jumper of his own assisted by junior guard Jordan Theodore to even the score.

Throughout the opening 20 minutes, the Pirates did not trail by more than five points.

Senior guard Jeremy Hazell led with 12 points, including shooting three of six from beyond the arc. He also grabbed six rebounds.

Robinson tallied 11 points and four rebounds in the first half during which the Hall collectively shot 45.5 perecent from the floor.

Junior guard Kemba Walker and Lamb sit atop the stats for the Huskies with eight points each.
