Joseph Marbach, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will accept the Provost position at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, according to multiple campus sources on Tuesday morning.
Marbach will begin his time at LaSalle on August 1 with his last day at Seton Hall being July 14, according to a source citing an e-mail from Marbach to members of the university faculty.
His position will also be Vice President of Academic Affairs for LaSalle.
The Setonian reported in late April that Marbach was a finalist for the position at LaSalle, as first reported by the school's student newspaper, The Collegian.
