Joseph Marbach, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, is a finalist for the Provost position at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, according to a report in the school's student newspaper, The Collegian.
The report cites Marbach as having visited the campus "during the week of April 5."
It also explains the process to find LaSalle's next Provost as being completed through an 11-member faculty search committee. Finalists were "asked to record a video tape…on their own campuses" addressing some of the committee's questions.
Very similar to the plans for the Seton Hall presidential search, LaSalle invited its finalists – four in total - to campus for presentations and a chance to meet the community.
The Setonian will have more on this story throughout the day.
