The women's basketball team has filled a void in the coaching staff with the addition of Army assistant Ty Grace.
The announcement came on Monday from head coach Phyllis Mangina. Grace will step into a position left empty when former Pirates assistant coach Marlin Chinn left to join the staff at the University of Maryland earlier this summer.
"We are very fortunate to have Ty join us at Seton Hall," said Mangina. "Her energy and enthusiasm will greatly benefit everyone in our program."
Grace was at Army for three seasons after serving as the head coach of Ramapo College for the two years prior. Her career coaching record stands at 21-29. She also spent five years as an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson.
