After months of waiting, Seton Hall has its first Class of 2020 commitment.
Three-star Woodrow Wilson High School (DC) guard/forward Dimingus Stevens picked the Pirates over offers from Boston College, Maryland, Temple and Virginia Tech. Assistant coach Tony Skinn was Stevens' primary recruiter throughout the process.
Stevens took his official visit to Seton Hall in early May. His trip to South Orange was the only official Stevens took before committing, as he saw enough during his time on campus to make him feel comfortable enough to pledge his commitment to the Pirates.
According to 247Sports, Stevens is the No. 151 recruit in his class, No. 27 shooting guard and No. 4 player in the Washington D.C. area. Stevens most recently played for Team Takeover of the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged 10.2 points per game on 42% shooting from the field and 35% shooting from three in 13 games played.
